This position is ideal for a skilled machinist with CNC and manual machining experience who is comfortable working with complex parts, close tolerances and detailed blueprints.

What You'll Do

As a CNC Machinist, you'll convert raw materials into finished components using CNC and manual lathes, mills and grinders. Because many parts are complex and require close tolerances, attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Set up, operate and maintain Mazak CNC lathes and mills and manual machining equipment
• Manufacture complex components to precise specifications and tolerances
• Perform complete machine setup, including tooling and workholding
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings and CAD files
• Make necessary machine adjustments and offsets throughout the machining process
• Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and other precision measuring instruments
• Complete required production and quality documentation
• Perform routine equipment maintenance
• Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of machining experience or equivalent education and training in Tool Room Machining
• Proven experience operating CNC mills and lathes
• Experience with Mazak, Haas, Fanuc or similar CNC controls
• Strong manual machining skills
• Knowledge of CNC programming and G-code
• Ability to accurately read complex blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience with tooling setups and hand tools
• Welding knowledge or experience
• Strong basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances and machine offsets
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
