We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled AM / Morning Cook to join our dietary team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys starting their day early, preparing quality meals, and creating a positive dining experience for our residents.

Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and other morning meal items according to established menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines
Ensure meals are ready and served on schedule
Meet facility standards for food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control
Accommodate modified diets and resident-specific dietary needs
Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen work areas, utensils, and equipment
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control requirements
Assist with inventory, food storage, labeling, and rotation
Collaborate with dietary staff and other team members to provide excellent resident service
Perform other duties as assigned
Previous cooking, dietary, or commercial kitchen experience preferred
Long-term care or healthcare food-service experience is a plus
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Dependable and comfortable working early morning hours
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
