This is a hybrid position with on-site presence on Thursdays.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Support the General Ledger department during month-end close and assist in preparing GAAP financial statements.Own and prepare complex, high-priority balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare, review, and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accruals.Review accounting documents and schedules to ensure computational accuracy and compliance with internal policiesMinimum Qualifications:Must have a Bachelor's Degree (in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration).Minimum of 4 years relevant accounting experienceAbility to handle stress and work well under pressureExperience leading meetings with other deptsAbility to use MS Office, Excel, Word, Power PointMulti-tasking ability with strong organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Analytical and critical thinking skillsExperience with PeopleSoft financials or another government contractor financial software packageExperience with PeopleSoft and Deltek CostpointClearance Requirements:US CitizenshipPhysical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeOccasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentationsThe projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
