CT Technologist

Dublin Methodist Hospital is hiring a part-time CT Technologist to work 11a-11:30p every Monday and Wednesday. The technologist will also be in the on-call and holiday rotation.

The CT Technologist operates computed tomography scanners for a variety of procedures following directives of staff radiologists. The position is responsible for explaining procedures to the patients, administering contrast media as requested, and scheduling patients in an organized manner. All duties performed per approved protocol.

Responsibilities and duties include obtaining patient clinical history for procedure, reviewing lab values and screening patient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrast media, administering oral and IV contrast media, operating CT scanners for variety of procedures, coordinating workload with other clinical sections and departments, and monitoring quality in patient care functions.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT-DOH - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists License from Ohio Department of Health, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, graduate of an accredited radiography program, ODH Ohio Radiologic License, BLS-Certification, and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Scheduled weekly hours: 24. Department: CT Scan.
