This role focuses on providing critical care to high-acuity neuro/post-cardiovascular surgery, medical, surgical, and trauma patients in a multispecialty ICU setting. The facility offers a collaborative work environment with continuous intensivist and mid-level coverage, making it suitable for dedicated ICU professionals.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Provide specialized care for neuro/post cardiovascular surgery patients
• Manage CRRT and neuro patient requirements with expertise
• Conduct procedural recoveries, including trachs, vents, and chest tubes
• Administer and monitor vasoactive drips and temporary pacemakers
• Ensure high-quality care in a multispecialty ICU with 1:2 patient ratios

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• RN License with active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience
• Proficient in using EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis systems
• Skills in trachs, vents, chest tubes, and procedural recoveries
• Covid vaccine required
