KIA Certified Service Technician

Service TechnicianWe are looking for a KIA Certified Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background. Our dealership is located in a prime, high-traffic area, offering consistent opportunities and strong earning potential.We also invest in our team through ongoing training and development, ensuring you have the tools, knowledge, and support needed to succeed and grow in the automotive industry.Benefits:Health, medical and dental401K plan optionsPTO and sick leaveGrowth opportunitiesFlexible work scheduleCompetitive payResponsibilities:Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentDiagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.Communicate directly with the service advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsQualifications:2+ years of KIA service technician experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience at a dealership is preferredB level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical and engine repair • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordinationMechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentExcellent customer service skills and basic computer competenciesPositive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improveEnjoy working in a dynamic environmentTeammate with ability to collaborate with others effectivelyAbility to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications • Valid driver's license and clean driving recordFAH LLC is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
