The Search team strives to build an experience that enables users to easily explore, find, and buy what they want at the best value through an engaging, frictionless, and trusted Search experience, helping them make confident purchase decisions.In this role, you will be responsible to drive growth through Search. Your expertise will drive the development of AI-driven features that improve product discovery, engagement, and user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML technologies, along with a passion for applying these skills to redefine the way customers interact with our platform.What you will accomplish: You will lead the product strategy and roadmap for driving growth for eBay through SearchBe a strategic problem solver and able to synthesize data from multiple sources (including analytics, user research, marketing research, and design) to identify key customer unmet needs, key solutions that can address the needs and build product vision with search item tilesYou will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineering, design, analytics, product marketing, and user research to deliver these productsYou will lead the execution of your roadmap by working with data science, engineering, and analytics teamsBuild MVPs, iterate fast and be the champion of execution excellenceConduct AB tests for launch candidates and work with analytics teams to measure the impact on success metricsWhat you will bring:7+ years of Product Management experienceExperience with search and discovery systems, including familiarity with ranking models, search algorithms, and semantic searchExperience in personalization and recommender systems, ideally using real-time dataStrong analytic skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sourcesPassionate advocate for user, and has confirmed results in achieving superb user experience within tight constraintsDemonstrated leadership ability, self-motivated and directed, entrepreneurial ability to innovate quicklyAdditional DetailsThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$183,600 - $245,100Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
