Job Overview Experience Required: The candidate must have at least five years of experience working on projects valued at over $1 million, specifically in reviewing and preparing construction contracting documents for procurement. Key Skills: Assistance in the Division of Contract Management for duties related to advertising, bidding, and awarding construction contracts. Pay: $67,086.40 – $70,000.00 per year. Responsibilities Handle all tasks involved in preparing for the advertisement of construction contracts. Review and ensure the accuracy of contract documents. Manage the advertisement process for construction contracts. Audit bids to ensure compliance and fairness. Administer contracts through the pre-award process. Prepare documents and contract packages for submission to the Office of the State Comptroller (OSC). Manage the procurement process for public construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and coordinating with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to award projects on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards. Qualifications At least five years of experience with projects valued at over $1 million. Knowledge and expertise in reviewing and preparing construction contracting documents for procurement. General experience in procurement, contract administration, or a related field. Experience in public procurement and/or public construction contracting is highly desirable. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to self-manage.
