3. Summary of the opportunity: - Client Overview: Our client, a leading company in the technology industry, is seeking a Contract UX Researcher to join their DevDiv UX Research Team. The team is responsible for delivering world-class user experiences for their developer tools and platforms. - Role Summary: As a Contract UX Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform product direction and improve user experiences. You will work closely with design, engineering, and business teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and the delivery of impactful insights.

What are the key responsibilities? - Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research methods throughout all stages of the product development lifecycle. - Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and business partners to ensure research insights are incorporated into product decisions. - Translate research findings into actionable recommendations and deliver them in compelling ways. - Use multiple data sources to triangulate insights and provide integrated perspectives. - Communicate and evangelize research results to engineering and business teams.

What experience are we looking for to drive success? - MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications: - Degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive psychology, behavioral science, or related field. - Thorough knowledge and experience of a range of UX research approaches and methodologies. - Strong analytical and synthesis skills with the ability to turn research results into actionable insights. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence a range of audiences. - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. - Flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing schedules and demands. - Aptitude for learning new technologies and familiarity with modern developer platforms and ecosystems. - Preferred Skills and Qualifications: - Experience working in lean or agile development environments. - Familiarity with the technology industry and developer tools.
