Job Description\n TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Concord North, North Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/14/2026\n Duration: 12 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Title: RN - ED Location: Concord North Carolina 28025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift - 36 Shift Information: 7p - 7a Clinical Interviewing- Yes On Call, Call Back Requirements: None Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays Floating Requirements: Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH (peds only) -- could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises About Facility:\n \n 457 licensed beds\n Trauma Level III\n Teaching Hospital\n Chest Pain Center\n Stroke Center of Excellence\n Bariatric Center of Excellence\n Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit\n Unit Information:\n Minimum Years of Experience required:\n \n ED RN: 2 years ED exp (Resource Team)\n Will you accept a first-time traveler: Not preferred but will consider (Resource Team)\n \n Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:\n \n Trauma level 3 – GSW, Stabbing, MVA, Falls, Stroke, Heart Failure, Chest pain, patient requiring fluid resuscitation/blood products, COPD, Cardiac Cath pre, ETOH/CIWA, IVDA, mental health, Respiratory illnesses, GI Disorders and infections, Liver Failure, AKI/CKD\n Patient Ratios: RN: 1:5 max (acuity dependent)\n \n Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:\n \n ED RN: Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI; Preferred: TNCC\n Skills required:\n \n ED RN: Trauma experience, Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, conscious sedation, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management, critical care drips, blood administration, etc.\n Support within the Department:\n \n CNA – ratios vary\n Receptionist/HUC\n Charge nurse, 24/7 – may or may not have patients\n IV/VAT Team\n RT, 24/7\n Hospitalist, 24/7\n ED Physicians\n Technology/Equipment:\n \n EMR: EPIC\n IV Pump: Alaris\n Med dispensing: Omnicell\n Monitors: Phillips\n Floating:\n \n Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable\n Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, any Freestanding ED within Region, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main Mercy LCH)\n If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)\n Orientation (facility and unit):\n \n NEO\n 2 days departmental\n Scheduling:\n \n Weekend rotation: every other\n No call for travelers\n Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays\n RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours\n Other notes:\n \n Scrub Color: Navy\n Parking: Free\n \n \n #ERRN1\n \n TalentBurst, Inc Job ID #26-27211.
