Public Assets & Grants Accountant I

The City of Independence is seeking an Accountant I – Public Assets and Grants to manage capital asset records, grants accounting, and financial reporting. Under the Accounting Manager, you will ensure GASB/GAAP compliance and support the ACFR and Single Audit processes. Responsibilities include asset capitalization, grant reconciliation, and coordinating with departments on financial reporting and grant budgets.
