Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care for telemetry patients, performing assessments, planning, and ongoing evaluation per physician orders.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry data; interpret rhythm strips and respond to dysrhythmias with appropriate interventions; administer medications as ordered.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; collaborate with the care team to update care plans and educate patients and families.
- Participate in rounding and interdisciplinary collaboration; ensure patient safety, infection control, and equipment readiness; adjust care plans as patient status evolves.
- May float to related units within the same hospital system as needed to maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios and support unit operations.

Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license required at submission; NH or compact licensure must be verified via NURSYS with all active RN licenses.
- 2+ years of Telemetry nursing experience; 1–2 years of Med-Surg experience with the ability to manage acuity.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NHISS credential required prior to start.
- Dysrhythmia exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%.
- RTO (time off) must be included at submission; documentation of travel experience in resume.
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner experience is a plus but not required).
