Regional Sales Manager – South
Location: Carolinas preferred

A growing consumer products company is seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across key Southeastern retail accounts. This role will own customer strategy, lead key relationships, and deliver against revenue, distribution, and profitability targets.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience with Southeastern retailers, strong broker leadership, and a proven ability to win in competitive CPG categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales strategy across key accounts including Publix, Food Lion, and other Southeastern retailers

• Develop and execute joint business plans to achieve revenue, margin, and distribution objectives

• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key decision-makers

• Manage and optimize broker partners to ensure best-in-class execution

• Leverage sales data, syndicated insights, and market trends to identify growth opportunities

• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and leadership teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

• 5+ years of CPG experience in sales, key account management, category management, or similar roles

• 5+ years of broker management and/or headquarters sales experience; Publix and Food Lion experience strongly preferred

• Strong foundation in sales fundamentals, including forecasting, trade promotion management (TPM), and S&OP

• Advanced category management skills with experience using Nielsen, IRI/Circana, and other POS data to build compelling selling stories

• Proven financial and trade management experience, including pricing and promotional strategy in dynamic categories
