The ideal candidate will have experience working with students, particularly in early childhood education and special education settings. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for childhood development, and the ability to support students with diverse needs. Responsibilities Assist in implementing educational programs under the supervision of a lead teacher or educator Support students in various activities, including classroom tasks and behavioral management Collaborate with teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Provide assistance with personal care needs, including toileting, diapering, hygiene, and feeding, in a respectful, safe, and developmentally appropriate manner Provide one‑on‑one assistance to students with special needs, including those with autism Help maintain a safe and organized classroom setting Communicate effectively with students and teachers regarding student progress Skills Experience in daycare, early childhood education, or related fields Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques Ability to work effectively with children and support their educational growth Knowledge of childhood development principles and special education practices Strong communication skills to interact with students and teachers Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus Understanding of and commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and privacy in accordance with applicable policies and regulations This position offers valuable experience in the field of education and an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives.
