Dental Hygienist

Location: Hopkinsville, KY Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Every Other Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Pay: $40/hour License Required: Active Dental Hygiene License About The Opportunity Our client is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join their growing dental practice in Hopkinsville, KY. In this role, you'll provide high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and work alongside an experienced clinical team committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences. What You'll Do Perform preventive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing Assess periodontal health and accurately document clinical findings Take dental radiographs and administer local anesthesia within your scope of practice Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and long-term dental health Maintain accurate patient charts and treatment documentation Follow infection control, sterilization, and OSHA safety protocols Collaborate with dentists and team members to provide outstanding patient care Participate in daily team huddles and assist with reviewing the hygiene schedule What You'll Bring Active Dental Hygiene license in good standing Experience providing comprehensive dental hygiene care (new graduates are encouraged to apply) Strong communication and patient education skills Ability to accurately assess and document periodontal conditions Experience taking dental radiographs and administering local anesthesia (where permitted) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a busy dental practice Experience with dental practice management software or scheduling systems Knowledge of current dental hygiene techniques and emerging technologies Bilingual communication skills Radiography and local anesthesia certifications, as required by Kentucky regulations Why Join?
