Manufacturing Team Lead

- Team Leadership: Lead and support department personnel, conduct daily team meetings (covering safety, stretching, HR, and general communications), and foster a team-centered environment.
- Production & Coverage: Actively work on the production line to cover absenteeism and ensure the team consistently achieves safety, quality, and productivity targets.
- Training & Development: Take responsibility for training manufacturing personnel and improving overall team performance.
- Process Improvement: Act as a leader in departmental problem solving, active participant in improving work instructions, and communicate procedural changes.
- Reporting & Admin: Read, understand, and create production reports while performing other departmental duties as instructed by the Supervisor.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with proven experience as a lead person.
- Technical Skills: Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, and proprietary Business Management Systems) and skilled in using manufacturing measurement tools.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both 1-on-1 and team settings, with a ability to portray a positive company image to employees, customers, and vendors.
- Organization: Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to prioritize, handle multiple duties simultaneously, follow through on tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Reliability: Consistently good attendance and the flexibility to work mandatory overtime as required.

- Support the personnel and resources required for the department
- Lead the Team Members within their area
- Leader in departmental problem solving and process improvement
- Responsible for training manufacturing personnel
- Required to flex into the production line to cover absenteeism
- Responsible for the team to achieve safety, quality and productivity targets
- Conduct daily Team meetings (safety, general communications, stretching, HR)
- Active participant in improving work instructions and communicating their changes
- Performing other departmental duties as instructed by the department Supervisor
- This position will be required to work mandatory overtime on an as needed basis
