Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room team at a Level III Trauma Center. The successful candidate will be adept at handling high patient ratios and must possess the required certifications for an effective and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform IVs according to established protocols.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient conditions continuously.
• Participate in unit orientation and competency exams as required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with 12-hour night shifts. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Must have an active NY state nursing license.
