Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Location: Charleston, WV Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 1811.47 - 1902.04 Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night 3x12-Hour; weekdays; every other weekend; float) Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: 2 years of experience; 1 year minimum in-specialty experience; BLS; ACLS; PALS; CPI; active WV/Compact RN license; Cerner experience; IV therapy and phlebotomy skills, including accessing ports, blood product administration, peripheral line care and management, and starting IVs; heparin protocols; managing cardiac drips without titration; experience with CVA, seizure disorders, substance withdrawal, external CPAP/BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the ER Holding Unit.
• Assess patient conditions and deliver care appropriate to the clinical setting.
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy and related nursing procedures.
• Monitor patients and respond to changing clinical needs.
• Float to the Emergency Department when needed and collaborate with the healthcare team.
