Groundskeeper - Apartment Community

Overview Monarch Investment is seeking a Groundskeeper to join our Ridge at Chestnut Apartments in Kansas City, MO. This role supports grounds maintenance and assists the Maintenance Manager with minor repairs. The position helps prepare apartments for new tenants as needed. Location Ridge at Chestnut Apartments 8701 Chestnut Circle Kansas City, MO 64131 Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call snow removal as needed Responsibilities Responsible for daily trash removal from all public exterior areas Spring and Fall cleanup Care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company related to grounds work Light/basic tree and bush trimming Assist maintenance staff as requested, including preventative maintenance to buildings, moving appliances, inspections or assisting in getting apartments ready for new tenants Snow removal (When applicable) Laundry room and interior hallway cleanup Requirements 6 months experience related to the responsibilities above General knowledge of daily maintenance groundskeeping/landscaping Ability to safely operate equipment Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Benefits & Compensation Competitive pay based on skill set and experience ($16-$19 hourly) Up to $3,000 a year in Quarterly Bonuses 401k planning with up to $4,000 annual match Tuition Reimbursement Program Paid Training program Paid Time Off, 1st Year = 80 hours, 2-4 Years = 120 hours, 5+ Years = 160 hours 8 Paid Holidays, 2 Paid 1/2 Holidays, Birthday or Work Anniversary Off Under $50 per month medical insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield FREE Dental, and Vision Insurance, buy up available FREE basic life insurance for employees, buy up available Additional benefit plans for employees, +spouse, +children available 20% off rent at any owned Monarch community, 100% discount after 10 years (subject to terms and resident selection criteria) Annual boot reimbursement program, up to $100 for each $500-$1,000 Employee Referral Bonus Program (terms and conditions apply) This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check and drug screening.
