JOB SUMMARY:

The Outreach & Prevention Coordinator leads CCS’s prevention education, outreach strategy, public messaging, social media, school-based programming, and community engagement across Iron, Beaver, and Garfield Counties.

This position has a significant funded focus on sexual assault outreach and prevention, while also supporting shared prevention strategies related to domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, digital safety, service access, and survivor support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Lead CCS outreach and prevention efforts.
● Provide school and community prevention education.
● Implement Dating Matters, Healthy Relationships, and related programming.
● Coordinate awareness activities and public education campaigns.
● Develop prevention materials, presentations, displays, and outreach resources.
● Increase awareness of CCS services and access points.
● Manage CCS social media scheduling and posting.
● Supervise interns assisting with content, outreach, and prevention projects.
● Coordinate with CCS programs on accurate public messaging.
● Maintain partnerships with schools, SUU, and community organizations.
● Support DV, dating violence, and stalking outreach as assigned within the position’s VAWA DV-funded allocation.
● Track activities, data, and outcomes for grant reporting and evaluation.
● Attend required meetings, trainings, coalitions, and community events.
● Follow CCS policies, confidentiality standards, and professional boundaries.
● Complete other duties as assigned within allowable funding requirements.

A candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training will be given consideration.
• Professional experience in a nonprofit environment or related work field preferred
• A commitment to social justice and CCS’s vision and purpose
• Excellence in interpersonal communications and developing and maintaining relationships
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent skills in public speaking and presentation delivery
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends if needed
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
