Human Resources Business Partner

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for performing broad professional human resources responsibilities to support business objectives including the support of policies and programs with benefits, employee relations, recruiting and the HRIS. This position will be integral to facilitate and proactively resolve employee concerns using employee relations skills and methodologies. The HRBP will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management and strengthen partnerships across the business functions. The HRBP will maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its business plans, its culture and its competition.Essential FunctionsAssist/Lead in the development and implementation of HR strategies, processes and policies Manages the full-cycle recruitment process including a supportive onboarding planOffers HR advice and guidance to employees, managers, and business leadersCreates a positive work environment through relationship building and effective communicationFacilitates the process to resolve employee relation issues and help maintain positive relationshipsUnderstands compensation structures and benefit administrationMaintains compliance for State and Federal regulationsEnsures accurate record keeping and reportingAnalyzes trends and metrics to propose/recommend solutions, programs and policiesEnsures safety and sanitation regulations according to the EHS Policies/ProceduresProjects and/or other duties as requested by Senior Management, HR and Production teamsBe an integral member of various project teams to change/improve processes as the company evolvesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with employees identifying gaps and seek business solutionsProvide leadership and strengthen internal communications creating and promoting a positive and supportive work environmentLead change management and process improvement initiativesSkills and CompetenciesSolid proficiency in Microsoft Office & HRIS (ADP – WFN/WFM)Excellent written and oral communication skillsSolid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organizationStrong teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a teamMust be able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management skills with strong ability to prioritizeBusiness acumen to support overall understanding of business objectivesProject and people management skillsAbility to address change and transformationAbility to identify and develop self & othersIn-depth knowledge of legal requirements/regulatory compliance (labor laws, conflict resolution, and employee engagement strategies)Understanding of compensation structures and benefits administration Curious in nature and always looking to question, learn, and look for better ways to do thingsRelish working in a company with a diverse and fast paced environmentPersonable, fun, team orientedEnjoys collaboration with others and creating innovative and fun projectsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma requiredBachelor’s degree a plusSHRM Designation a plusMinimum 4 years of HR experience (manufacturing environment preferred)Work EnvironmentInternal:Manufacturing locationsOffice locationsTravel RequirementsPotential travel to and between the company’s manufacturing and sales locations may be required (5-10%).Physical DemandsBasic physical stances and actions (sitting, standing, walking)
