Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team at Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center. As an Activities Assistant, you will be responsible for providing engaging daily activities to our residents as a group or on an individual basis. This is a full-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and implementing quality activities that cater to our residents' diverse interests and abilities

• Build and maintain relationships with residents and their families to ensure their needs are met and exceeded

• Prepare activity calendars and update activity/orientation boards to keep residents informed and engaged

• Assist with special events, outings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations to create a sense of community

• Work with volunteers to recruit and coordinate volunteer activities, and actively seek new volunteers to join our team

• Encourage and motivate resident participation in activities, and provide support and assistance as needed

• Maintain accurate record keeping and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
