Store Manager, Beyond Yoga- Santa Monica

Beyond Yoga seeks a dynamic retail leader to manage daily operations, drive sales results, and foster a positive team and store culture. Responsibilities Business Ownership Lead the retail team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals while meeting store financial plans. Assess and strategize performance goals such as Conversion, Units Per Transaction, and Sales Per Hour. Use company tools and resources to analyze business performance, celebrate wins, and address opportunities. Team Management Recruit, hire, and manage store personnel, making pay and termination decisions for all levels. Handle employee relations issues, coaching, conflict resolution, and ensure adherence to Operational Excellence policies. Facilitate onboarding and training on culture, product knowledge, and selling skills. Coach staff for continuous development and create succession plans for promotion. In‑Store Experience + Operations Maintain payroll plans by managing schedules, monitoring labor costs, and adapting staffing to sales volume. Ensure sound inventory management, accurate receiving and sending, and compliance with price change and ticketing procedures. Execute visual merchandising standards, adapting displays to store layout and customer needs. Plan floor replenishment to keep product availability optimal. Create a compelling customer experience through selling and service behaviors. Community & Culture Build inclusive relationships and embrace diversity. Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners to engage the local community and execute brand events. Serve as a brand ambassador embodying company core values. Qualifications Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment. Collaborative role model with inclusive behaviors aligned to company culture. Self‑starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn new tools and adapt to initiatives. Progressive retail leadership experience with proven coaching and training skills. Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to perform essential functions, lift up to 40 pounds, and stand, walk, kneel, and climb ladders as required. Reliable transportation. High‑school diploma or GED preferred.
