About the Role
New Motors has been in Erie since 1971 representing 5 brands and is looking for an experienced Office Manager to take ownership of key accounting and operational functions. This role is critical to keeping the financial side of the dealership running smoothly and accurately.
The primary focus of this position will be daily banking activity, floorplan management, and factory payables. Additional responsibilities will grow over time as systems and processes are strengthened.
Primary Responsibilities (Top Priorities)
Post daily banking activity accurately and timely
Manage floorplan activity including flooring vehicles, payoffs, and reconciliations
Handle factory payable accounts ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Additional Responsibilities (As Needed / Future Growth)
- Oversee accounts receivable schedules
Serve as backup for payroll and assist in other office positions during vacations or absences
Qualifications
Prior automotive dealership accounting experience REQUIRED
Experience with floorplans and factory statements
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Comfortable working independently while supporting a team environment
Experience with dealership accounting systems such as Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus
