Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will pioneer industry-leading technologies and toolsets to enable our developers to innovate in record time. You will have the opportunity to enable the way product teams operate since it is crucial to its success in maturing their processes to follow industry practices within a DevSecOps world. You will enable the product teams to adopt the concept of fail fast and often. You will get an opportunity to help the teams focus on the end-to-end delivery of their products to the clients in an automated fashion. You will create, evolve, scale, integrate, fortify, and automate core services to solve unique and constantly iterating engineering challenges that can be applied to products which are developed in-house or SaaS products

Our industry, now more than ever, is built upon the principles of rapid innovation, agile development and testing, continuous deployment, and ultimately faster time to market for applications. The DevSecOps team is a core driver of these principles. The team is searching for a senior engineer with proven experience in owning projects, identifying, and leading implementation of new technology, developing standards, and mentoring team members. DevSecOps is central to the entire department's operations, and as such, the successful candidate will have input to technology and implementation decisions across the organization.

In this role, you will:

• Design, build and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with embedded security testing to effectively secure and deploy cloud-based (Azure or AWS) workloads.
• Design infrastructure and implement automation using infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Write automation scripts following best-practice coding principles
• Lead improving the infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of software components are upheld
• Maintain scalable logging and monitoring infrastructure for deployed services
• Work with peer software engineers to design resilient, scalable, and robust cloud and IoT services
• Work with developers to establish NoOps culture, empowering developers with next-generation self-service options.
• Collaborate with software engineers to figure out tool requirements, then drive the implementation, documentation, maintenance, and improvement of these tools
• Build automation for routine, simple, and complex tasks
• Create, manage and utilize appropriate technical procedural documentation (best practices, blueprints, runbooks, etc.
