We offer career opportunities in print and mail production, with medical, dental, vision insurance and a competitive 401K.Work Location: 1701 Northwind Parkway Hobart, IN 46342 Hours: 7am - 3:30pm, with expected additional OT hours including weekends Pay: Starting at $22.00 based on skills and experienceThe Large Format Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining oversized digital printing equipment to produce high-quality graphics, banners, signs, and point-of-purchase displays. This role requires technical precision, strong color vision, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure client specifications are met on a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates. In this role, the operator will be responsible for running Durst, Vutek, and HP Indigo equipment.What you will be doing:Operate large format digital printing presses while adhering to production schedules.Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.Review job specifications and make necessary adjustments to color profiles, resolutions, and layouts before printing.Set up and configure machines for different substrates and print jobs.Monitor print quality throughout the printing process and make real-time adjustments as necessary.Ensure all printed materials meet quality standards and customer specifications before delivery.Keep accurate records of production runs, material usage, and any issues encountered during the printing process.Other duties as assigned.Who you are:Minimum of 2 year's experience in large format and or digital printing environmentExperience with running Durst, Vutek, and HP Indigo equipment is highly preferred.Extensive knowledge of Large Format Printing Substrates and detailed Large Format Press Maintenance / operations knowledge and skills.Effective process management skills, excellent communication skillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
