This position is for a faculty role at our organization’s Family Medicine Residency Clinic located at Fort Bragg, NC.

Our facility, named in honor of Medal of Honor recipient PFC Bryant H. Womack, is a fully accredited 110-bed regional medical center and Graduate Medical Education (GME) facility. We serve Fort Bragg, the largest U.S. Army installation globally and home to Airborne and Special Operations. Our organization operates several excellent Primary Care practice locations in Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Linden Oaks.

Situated in Fayetteville, near Fort Bragg, our location is just 2 hours from the coast and 5 hours from the Appalachian Mountains, with convenient access to I-95 for travel north and south. As a Family Practice Physician, your duties will include:

• Providing direct supervision, guidance, and instruction to medical residents and students in the Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Acting as an attending physician, examining patients, determining the need for laboratory tests, x-rays, and other necessary procedures to gather medical information and make diagnoses, while mentoring residents.
• Making preliminary diagnoses of more serious or rare conditions and consulting with appropriate specialists as needed.
• Overseeing medical students, physician assistant students, and nurse practitioner students assigned to the Primary Care Services Division within the Family Medicine Residency Clinic.
• Adhering to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards for residency faculty, which includes participating in organized clinical discussions, faculty development, and educational presentations.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from an accredited institution in the United States or Canada, or a foreign medical degree deemed equivalent by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or a fifth pathway certificate for those who completed premedical education in the U.S. and graduate education abroad.

Candidates must possess a permanent, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
