Role Description The Paralegal will support attorneys with high-stakes commercial litigation in state and federal courts across the United Statwa. The role is an on-site role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Day-to-day responsibilities include assuring proper tracking and reminders of, and compliance with deadlines, drafting and preparing legal documents, organizing case files, conducting legal and factual research, and assisting with discovery and document production. The Paralegal will review, summarize, and manage large volumes of documents, maintain case calendars and deadlines, and help prepare materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. The role also involves communicating with internal teams, clients, and third parties, coordinating filings in multiple jurisdictions, and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures. This position requires strong attention to detail, proactive organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law with experience supporting litigation, business transactions, or personal injury matters. Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, correspondence, and transactional documents. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, courts, and external stakeholders. Advanced Research abilities, including legal research using online databases and factual investigation. Detail-oriented Document Review skills, including organizing, summarizing, and managing discovery materials and case files. Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred; prior law firm or in-house legal experience is beneficial. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple matters and deadlines. Proficiency with legal case management software and standard office productivity tools.
