Pathologists Assistant (ASCP) Reno, NV
Were seeking a certified Pathologists Assistant to join a growing pathology team in Reno. This role supports surgical pathology services in a collaborative, high-quality lab environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens
- Prepare and dictate accurate gross descriptions
- Assist with frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
- Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and documentation
- Support quality assurance and lab compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited Pathologists Assistant program
- ASCP certification required (or eligible)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and pathology techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
