Underwriting Technical Assistant Falvey Insurance Group, LTD – North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States Overview Falvey Insurance Group is looking to grow the Falvey Family and is seeking candidates that are detail-oriented, customer-service focused, and interested in careers in insurance to apply for our Underwriting Technical Assistant support staff position. The Underwriting Technical Support Staff will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including working with Underwriters to prepare quotes, policies, and endorsements per Underwriter instructions, file management, and data entry in our proprietary intranet system. Hands‑on training will be provided over the first three months of employment. Responsibilities Prepare quotes, policies, and endorsements per Underwriters instructions. Manage file records and maintain data entry accuracy in the proprietary intranet system. Assist Underwriters with administrative tasks in a fast‑paced, collaborative office environment. Qualifications Familiarity with a fast‑paced, collaborative office environment. Willingness to achieve an insurance producer’s license if not already licensed. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit and work quietly for extended periods, operate a computer, and answer and communicate on a telephone. Working Conditions Business‑casual, fast‑paced, multi‑tasking office environment. Hours of Operations Monday through Friday 9 am – 5 pm. Hybrid work environment: 3 days in office (Wednesday and Thursday mandatory) and 2 days remote. Occasional flexibility required for additional hours.
