Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will work in the Neuro Rehab unit, providing acute Med Surg care to a population primarily dealing with neuro conditions. Responsibilities include IV therapy and wound care, among others, in a facility that prioritizes high-level communication and personal involvement with patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Participation in interdisciplinary team rounds and therapy sessions
• Maintain a high standard of care in a low stimulation area with common diagnoses such as TBI, brain tumor resection, CVA

Requirements:

• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience
• BLS Certification
• Strong Med Surg experience required, Rehab experience preferred
• Natural hair color only, no facial piercings, men must be clean-shaven for fit test
• Pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation
• Successful completion of dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
• License to submit
