Now Hiring Part-Time On Call Cafeteria Substitute

Starting Rate is $15.00 per hour with the potential of a permanent position.

Work hours are Monday through Friday between 9:30am - 2:00 pm. Some breakfast shifts could be available for additional hours.

No nights, weekends, or holidays.

Summers off.

15-20 hours a week available.

Food service experience preferred but not required.

Job duties include but are not limited to: cleaning, cooking, food prep, dishes, register, cash handling, serving students, adhering to food safety standards and guidelines. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift 50lbs.

Must pass background checks and drug test.

Culinary team members start their culinary career learning the front and back of the dining services industry. In a hospitality driven, multi dining outlet setting, you will perform duties to include plating, set up and tear down of café, restaurant, retail areas, or assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation. Must bring a strong work ethic, a smile, and enjoy working in a team environment.

Line and prep cooks prepare and present delicious meals and impressive presentations following our executive chef menus. Ability to inventory and portion ingredients. Additionally, assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation. Experience in resort would be ideal but willing to train the right person with a passion for food.

Catering team members create, transport, setup, serve and breakdown banquet-style food displays with amazing hospitality and guest experience focus. These catering events range from small casual business lunches to amazing and extravagant black tie events.

Cafeteria substitutes work on an as needed basis, we are seeking cafeteria substitutes to jump in where needed in a busy K-12 kitchen and dining café setting. Substitutes will perform duties to include plating, set up and tear down of café, retail areas, or assist in kitchen to include prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories and sanitation. Must bring a strong work ethic, a smile, and enjoy working in a team environment.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This can be full or part-time and provides very flexible schedules. Hospitality experience is desired and a smile is required!

Requirements:

• Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a passion for food and understands the basics
• Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and portioning
• Be willing to roll up sleeves and contribute where needed
