Personal Trainer- Seasonal Part time Oct-MayProvide individualized training programs, small group sessions, and exceptional member service.Personal trainer is responsible for informing, educating, training, and motivating clients/members interested in achieving fitness and personal training goals.Essential FunctionsDevelop safe and effective exercise programming for individuals based on their health history and personal fitness goals.Provide individualized training programs, small group sessions, and exceptional member service.Provide one-on-one personal training sessions and small group training.Develop safe and effective exercise programs tailored to member goals and abilities.Educate and motivate members on proper exercise techniques, health, and wellness.Assist with maintaining gym equipment and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the fitness facility.Collaborate with other fitness professionals to enhance the member experienceConduct fitness assessments where applicable.Assist in operations of the fitness facility so that operations are always at or above standards; assists in maintaining equipment and supplies.Convey rules and regulations as set forth by the fitness committee and Quail Ridge Management.Performs other duties necessary to maintain a consistent level of customer service that is expected by membership and standard for the fitness industry.Promoting all fitness programs, initiatives, contests, lectures etc to encourage participation and utilization.Ability to work amongst fitness staff, to include but not limited to breaks, floor coverage, orientations.Ensure floor coverage at all times when on scheduled shifts.Maintaining appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities to perform necessary tasks.Reception desk coverage when necessary.Responsible for the administration of paperwork, billing, and documentation for training sessions.Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.Knowledge, skills and abilities Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a country club/fitness area.Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must possess excellent organizational skills and coordinate and complete tasks with limited supervision. Must be a detail-oriented individual and possess time management skills.Must maintain high performance standards.Ability to communicate with members effectively.Ability to deal with routine changes often. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with all employees, management and members. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.Excellent sales and communication skills. Thorough understanding of Quail Ridge Country Club policies and procedures.Must have some computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office programs.Education and experience High School Diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree in related field and/or national certification in personal training with 2 years' experience required.Current nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)Previous personal training experience preferredCPR/AED certification required.Excellent sales and communication skills; achievement of acceptable level of trainings per week and month; thorough understanding of Quail Ridge policies and procedures.Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., and bend and/or lift heavier objects or equipment in the fitness facility.Apply on our website at: Free Workplace/E-Verify Participant/EOE
