OCM Consultant Position

One of our clients in Washington, DC needs an OCM Consultant for a full-time position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Change Strategy & Governance

• Develop and execute a comprehensive Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategy aligned with governance structures and approval hierarchies
• Conduct stakeholder impact assessments across multiple divisions and traveler groups
• Establish change governance, sponsorship alignment, and change champion networks
• Coordinate with Program Managers and technical teams to align change activities with system design and deployment

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

• Develop and implement targeted communication plans for executives, leadership, finance personnel, approvers, and end users
• Communicate updates to Travel Authorization workflows, approval hierarchies, and reimbursement processes
• Prepare executive briefings and adoption dashboards to track readiness and risks

Business Process Transition

• Support transition from legacy GDS-connected reservation systems to SAP Concur
• Ensure continuity of operations while introducing updated workflows for travel authorization, booking, reimbursement, and compliance
• Coordinate impacts related to integrations with monitoring, reimbursement, and audit systems

Training & Adoption

• Conduct training needs analysis across user groups
• Develop role-based training materials, job aids, and process documentation
• Support delivery of training (virtual and in-person)
• Partner with help desk/customer support teams for post-go-live readiness

Readiness & Post-Go-Live Support

• Lead organizational readiness assessments prior to deployment
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from a business adoption perspective
• Monitor adoption metrics, help desk trends, and user feedback post-go-live
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve adoption, compliance, and user experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 57 years of Organizational Change Management experience in federal or highly regulated environments
• Demonstrated experience supporting ERP or enterprise SaaS implementations
• Experience with SAP Concur or similar federal travel systems (e.g., ETS2)
• Strong understanding of federal travel processes, including Travel Authorization workflows and reimbursement lifecycle
• Experience supporting large, multi-division organizations (2,000+ users)
• Proven ability to align change strategies with compliance-driven processes and audit requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting implementations within federal regulatory agencies or similarly structured organizations
• Familiarity with FFIEC-related operational environments
• Masters Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent change management certification
