We're currently seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our Surgery Department at our Ontario, Galion or Bucyrus location .

Position Overview

Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• CRCST Certification - Certified Registered Central Service Technician or obtained within six months of hire.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience cleaning and sterilizing instruments
• Previous experience working in a healthcare facility working in the Sterile Prep Department.
