About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience License: RN License required Certifications: - ACLS - PALS - BLS - TNCC Must-Have: - Ability to care for critically ill patients. - ED nursing experience. Description: The emergency department features 8 beds and typically has 6 staff members on duty per shift. Daily staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 EMT on day shift, with 2 RNs on night shift. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 4:1. The unit cares for both high and low acuity ED patients. Typical procedures include medication administration, care for critical patients, and labs. Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team. The dress code consists of navy blue scrubs. Weekend shifts typically include 4 shifts per schedule.
