Job Overview

Position: Senior Civil Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ (possibility of NY office)
Company: SJH Engineering, P.C., a full-service consulting engineering firm
Employment Type: Full-time, senior-level
Focus: Lead and manage civil engineering projects, from planning to completion
Salary- $10000 annually
Vendor fee:3%

Key Responsibilities

Lead civil engineering projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
Prepare civil engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, design, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
Licensing: PE license highly desirable
Experience: Minimum 5 years in civil engineering, including:
- Horizontal/vertical alignments
- Roadway plans
- Drainage/erosion control
Software Skills:
- Bentley OpenRoads Designer and/or Autodesk Civil3D
- CAD and Bluebeam proficiency
Other Skills:
- Project scheduling
- Strong communication skills

Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience , ideally with project leadership
Strong communication and site supervision skills
