POSITION SUMMARY
- Position Summary:
  - The medical assistant is responsible for providing quality patient care as assigned by professional nursing staff or physicians in the clinic setting.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
  - High school or equivalent
  - Completion of a certified medical assisting training course
- Minimum Experience
  - Medical assisting clinic experience preferred
- Required Registration/License/Certification
  - Medical Assisting Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, or RMA)
  - Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
