Job Full Description

Title: Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Location: Mesquite, Texas

Pay: $17/hr

Hour: Monday-Friday between 7am-4:00pm or 9am-6pm (start and end times are negotiable but must work every other Saturday)

Type: Temp to Perm

Responsibilities

Process incoming and outgoing inventory
Coordinate with other warehouse team members to maintain an organized and accurate inventory
Pulling orders
Unloading containers
Stocking inventory

Driving company truck to pick up materials at manufacturers (occasional driving must have valid driver's license)

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift experience is a plus
Must be trainable on how to drive sit down forklift, stand up forklift, cherry picker and a reach truck
2 - 3 years related experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Knowledge of safe lifting technique to load and unload cargo, including heavy, bulky, and/or cumbersome freight.
Prior experience operating forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks for the purposes of moving, loading, arranging, rearranging, and unloading freight.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions given orally or in writing, including those on manifests and other shipping documents
Ability to perform work required in a timely manner and to maintain adequate productivity in order to meet service schedules and customer commitments
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Ability to maintain good attendance
Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
