Senior Full Stack Software Developer (Java, Angular & AWS)

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer I - Contractor to support the modernization and maintenance of a mission-critical enterprise application in AWS. We need a skilled developer who can balance ongoing modernization with production stability. You'll support technical design decisions, write code, and establish reusable patterns while collaborating across scrum teams to ensure architectural consistency. Partnering with enterprise architects and other team members, you'll translate architectural vision into practical implementation strategies. Responsibilities Hands-On Development Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and TypeScript for event-driven and RESTful integration patterns Build solutions using AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, EventBridge, RDS, etc.) within a microservice and micro-frontend architecture Address technical debt by upgrading outdated dependencies/frameworks Other duties as assigned Security & Compliance Actively support security best practices to remain compliant with the System and guidelines. Ensure deployed code is actively scanned by the enterprise scanning tool(s) for vulnerability identification and remediation. Create and maintain required technical documentation to support the application infrastructure, design, development and testing. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, InfoSec, and Program Management Collaborate effectively and share knowledge with the scrum team and other teams within the portfolio as needed Communicate project status, risks, and blockers to stakeholders Qualifications Required 5+ years of software engineering experience. Proven experience with AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, CDK/CloudFormation) and Java/Spring Boot ecosystem Strong Angular experience; micro-frontend architecture (module federation) a plus Microservices architecture experience, including the strangler pattern for modernizing legacy applications Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenSearch) Proven technical leadership with cross-team collaboration Strongly Preferred Experience using development accelerator tools #J-18808-Ljbffr Infojini Inc
