Director of Accounting

Our client, a developmental stage pharma company seeks a Director level Accounting professional to join their small but growing Accounting and Finance group.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of 2-3 staff
- Driving the period end close process, resulting in accurate and supported financials, worthy of SEC submittal working alongside the head of SEC reporting
- Review and implementation of policies and procedures allowing for scalability to the business
- Work with outside vendors, auditors, bankers to ensure compliance.
- Experience working with stock plan accounting and ERP systems.
Candidates for this role should have:
- 10 + years of experience between public accounting and corporate accounting, from a publicly traded company within the pharmaceutical industry with specific experience from developmental drug companies
