RN Hospice - DFW, TX | $50/hr (Local)

Job Details Jogan Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in hospice, local or able to commute to DFW, TX. Pay Details Local Pay: $50/hr Travel Pay: $29.17/hr + Lodging + $55/per diem for days worked + Travel Stipend Estimated Hours: 40+ hours weekly (9am to 5pm, Monday-Friday) Duration: 13 weeks with a possible extension In-home patient visits, driving required (Mileage Reimbursement to patient homes- $0.625 per mile, per the IRS standard) Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to plan care Make frequent visits to the patient to evaluate their condition Provide support and comfort according to individual patient’s needs Work with caregivers to plan and execute excellent patient care Help in administering medication Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease’s end phase Notify a doctor for a patient’s condition when deemed necessary Assist patients and their families with paperwork Maintain accurate records Help relatives cope with the upcoming loss and provide post-mortem support Qualifications Compact or Texas State RN License AHA CPR Certification Valid Driver’s License Valid Auto Insurance At least 2 years of Hospice RN experience Fully COVID-19 Vaccinated Current Flu shot Home Care Home Base EMR Experience required EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
