CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Independence Tooling is actively seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team! Responsibilities Produce machined parts by setting up, and operating a mill and/or computer numerical control (CNC) machine Plan machining by studying work orders and blueprints Set up mills by tramming/indicating vices and/or work material. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Qualifications 3 plus years' experience of CNC machining CNC Machine Operator with 5-Axis Heidenhain experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense is a plus All employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.
