Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with eligibility to work in Michigan, or proof that the application process has been initiated
At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing or stepdown nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
BSN not required

Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult acute care and stepdown patients
Monitor patient status, interpret changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
Administer medications and treatments according to the plan of care and unit protocols
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in Epic
Promote a positive patient experience through communication, education, and attentive bedside care
