Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (Registered) in Columbia, Maryland. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care for adult and neonatal patients, including ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, and aerosolized medication administration. Candidates must bring their Maryland license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Address: Columbia, Maryland
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program, Maryland license, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification, CPR certification via American Heart Association (AHA), and at least 2 years of critical care experience including neonatal intensive care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ventilator management, arterial blood gases, CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy, CPT, aerosolized medications, CPR/code team participation, and computerized documentation.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have NICU experience and previous employment in any capacity within Johns Hopkins facilities must be noted on the coversheet and work history for rehire verification. If previously employed as staff, PRN, or in a perm role, candidates must be gone for at least 1 year before applying as a traveler.
