CEO – Norfolk, VA ($200k+) Summary Urgent need for CEO in Norfolk, VA for federal housing project. Experience with public housing authorities and HUD required. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and implement organizational goals and priorities. Oversee agency operations, housing programs, redevelopment initiatives, and administrative functions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local housing regulations and procurement requirements. Lead executive staff and promote operational efficiency, accountability, and ethical governance. Serve as the primary representative to residents, community stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations. Foster community engagement and support initiatives that enhance resident services and neighborhood revitalization. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field preferred. 8+ years of senior leadership experience in public housing, redevelopment, or community development organizations. Strong knowledge of HUD programs, affordable housing operations, and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
