About the RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Role

As a RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. Your expertise and leadership will play a vital role in helping us achieve our mission of providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the activities of the nursing unit, including staffing, schedules, and resource allocation

• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and performance evaluation

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards

• Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise

• Identify and address opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines

RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of New York

• Prior experience in a nursing leadership role or equivalent

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
