- 8+ years supporting Oracle Essbase environments
- 5+ years of Linux administration
- Experience supporting production financial reporting or planning solutions
- Experience migrating Essbase environments to AWS or cloud platforms
- Experience managing Linux-based Essbase servers
- Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery processes
- Experience supporting high-availability and resiliency configurations
Key Skills
Platform Administration
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Essbase environments
- Administer Essbase applications, cubes, databases, calculation scripts, and business rules
- Manage Essbase services, WebLogic components, Oracle middleware, and supporting infrastructure
- Monitor platform health, system capacity, and performance
Security & Access Management
- Administer authentication and authorization integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, SSO, and enterprise identity providers
- Manage user provisioning and role-based security
Performance Optimization
- Analyze and tune cube performance
- Optimize aggregation, calculation, and data load processes
- Troubleshoot slow-running queries and user performance issues
- Recommend infrastructure scaling and system improvements
Data Integration & Automation
- Support data feeds from data warehouses, data lakes, ERP systems, and other enterprise applications
- Develop and maintain MAXL, shell, PowerShell, or automation scripts
- Troubleshoot ETL processes and data load failures
