As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter incidents. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and site personnel while supporting security-related procedures. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.12 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon – Fri: 11:00 AM – 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points at a manufacturing and industrial location; verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns. Help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited activities by maintaining awareness of site activity and communicating professionally with personnel and visitors. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
