Duties and Responsibilities Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment Utilize handheld tools such as a handheld screw and drill gun Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area Qualifications Must be able to follow directions Must be able to comprehend basic math calculations and measurements Must have basic knowledge of operations of hand tools Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea High attention to detail and self-motivation skills Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years relevant work experience Must have a valid driver’s license and able to operate all class C vehicles Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk stairs and/or climb ladders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
